Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?

I decided to pursue a graduate degree in iBio because of the freedom it gives to personalize your own learning to your research interests and needs. Moreover, I was looking for a sense of community that the department seems to have.

Why or what do you love about the program?

I just started but I already love how kind and welcoming everyone has been.

Fun Fact: I once accidentally slammed my hand into a saguaro while trying to measure it and I never really got the tinier spikes out. I don’t feel them anymore, but I still have hopes that the spikes under my skin will turn me into a cactus or at least give me plant superpowers.
