Credentials: MS Student - Orrock Lab

Email: eklocke@wisc.edu

Address:
I am studying the effects of invasive plants on tick populations. Specifically, I am interested in the impact of common buckthorn on the prevalence of Lyme disease and how that corresponds to disease risk in humans.

Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?

UW-Madison has a long history of ecological research, and the iBio department in particular takes a broad approach to research, using multiple disciplines to study ecology.

Why or what do you love about the program?

No matter what you are interested in, there is someone else (among both faculty and students) who is interested in the same topic, and there is a lot of opportunity for collaboration.

Educational Background:

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Jamestown.
