I study the thermal physiology of chacma baboons by combining field data and biophysical modeling to investigate the species' plasticity amid changing environmental conditions.

Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?

Connecting expert faculty across a range of biological disciplines, the Department of Integrative Biology seemed like the ideal intersection point to pursue my interests in animal physiology, behavioral ecology, and primatology.

Why or what do you love about the program?

The incredibly supportive iBio faculty, who promote growth in our roles as scientists and teachers.

Fun Fact:I hope to visit every National Park in the United States–so far, I have made it to 39 of them!
