Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?

After graduation, I spent several summers conducting field research in Iceland with my now advisor, Tony Ives, and his graduate students. I loved the research, and working with Tony and his students. Upon visiting campus, I found that many of the qualities I admired in Tony and his students were encouraged by the department. I wanted to be in an environment that is as supportive of students, faculty, and their research as iBio is.

Why or what do you love about the program?

The community.
