My research will focus on the effects of biological invasions on small mammal ecology and behavior. Specifically, I will examine differing rates of cache pilferage between habitats invaded with common buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) and habitats that have undergone buckthorn removal.

Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?

I decided to pursue a degree in iBio because I appreciated the freedom and multifaceted nature of the program.

Fun fact about yourself:

I am an avid hiker and outdoor recreationist. Canoeing, kayaking, trail running, skiing…if you can name it, I’ve probably tried it!

Educational background:

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF).
