I’m studying heart regeneration using zebrafish as a model organism. Zebrafish have a remarkable ability to regenerate heart tissue, and my research focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind this process.

Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree in iBio?
The program’s flexible course selection allows me to tailor my studies to support my research interests. Its diverse faculty and well-equipped facilities offer a wide range of lab options and foster strong opportunities for collaboration.
Educational Background:
I did my BSc at Minya University in Egypt, and my major was biochemistry. In addition, I completed my M.Sc. in Life Sciences at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia. My master’s thesis was conducted at Academia Sinica in Taiwan through a collaborative program between KFUPM and Academia Sinica.
