Department mail and assistance with sending & receiving packages is handled by Mike Malone (Storeroom Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org, 608-262-2606).
Incoming mail must include a street address. Listing a room number and building name (e.g., 202 Noland Hall) will assist greatly with mail delivery.
Birge Hall = 430 Lincoln Dr.
Noland Hall = 250 N. Mills St.
Zoology Research = 1117 W. Johnson St.
Mike Malone picks up outgoing mail from each building mailroom by 11:00 AM daily. Outgoing mail must indicate a name of the sender in the return address section, so postage fees can be charged appropriately. Dry ice cannot be packed in outgoing international mail.
Before sending or receiving purchases of live animals, please speak with Kate Skogen (Animal Care Supervisor, email@example.com).
Storeroom orders are delivered to the Department Office, 145 Noland Hall, unless you specified a different delivery location in your original request. Upon arrival in Noland Hall, Mike will deliver the item(s) to you. When Mike is gone, the labs will be called to pick-up packages delivered to the department office. It is the responsibility of the person receiving and opening the package to inspect for damage and to verify the contents immediately. Retain packing slips. If there is a problem with the order, contact Mike Malone.
Blank FedEx forms for international and U.S. mailings with department account number are located in 435 Birge Hall, by the Zoo Research mailboxes, and the Storeroom (179 Noland Hall). Fill in the recipients address and phone number, and ensure payment details are appropriately marked. Drop off the package and forms with Mike Malone in the Storeroom. Questions? Contact Mike.
